The events of 9/11 are one that many will hopefully never forget. The attacks of 9/11 are the Pearl Harbor of our parents’ and grandparents’ lives. For the past 7 years the NYPD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums has held a 9/11 memorial Concert in Manhattan . Milton Chief of police, Richard Wells, his wife Pauline, Boston-Irish band Devri, and all of the members of the Boston Police Gaelic Column have been privileged to be involved, as well as police agencies and entertainers from around the world. This year the NYPD is not holding their concert, so we invited them to Boston to honour them. and remember the heroes of that day.
As all of you know, Pauline has used her singing ability to benefit many charities. After the success of A Celtic Crossing last March in Milton, she has now been offered her own concert at the historic Wilbur Theater in
Boston. She has selected 9/11 as the date for this concert as a tribute to all of the victims as well as her relationship with the NYPD Pipes and Drums and the Boston Police Gaelic Column. This night promises to be a night not to be missed, and she will be joined by a host of top class musicians, comedians, dancers and entertainers.
Of final importance, she has selected the charity COPS FOR KIDS WITH CANCER to receive the proceeds from this event. Stay tuned for details and mark your calendars, and please let all your friends know about this not to be missed show

I really enjoyed watching you all perform at the Glock Awards Dinner in Orlando, Florida on January 17, 2009. I hope I have the opportunity to do so again. My family history on my Mothers side goes to the Scottish Highlands, with the last name of Niven, which is also my middle name. Our family castle is still standing.
